A winter garden: A place to keep yourself warm with shimmering sunlight, A place to enjoy summer as well as winter A place to save plants and flowers – and songs – from the cold … new and young ones, but also old and mature ones you took pleasure in for so long…

We chose this special location at Andy´s house to conserve old Lene Wood classics reflecting the early songwriting and to plant new songs for the future in a new surrounding. …reflecting and celebrating the here and now of the band – 13 years after it came to life. The sequence of songs recorded in the winter garden session Vol. 1 depict a journey once begun and now continued, from rocky beats and funky colours up to jazzy and souly vibes colliding with deeply atmosheric and melancholic rock – all combined in one foursome of musicians.
